Randy has performed on every continent and 70+ countries throughout the world entertaining in multiple musical genres and settings including;

  • Intimate piano bars playing standards, pop, rock, and jazz
  • His fabulous tribute shows to Billy Joel, Elton John, and Neil Diamond
  • Original music concerts featuring music from his various recordings

Hailing from Portland, Oregon, Randy grew up in a musical family. At 19, he moved to Boston to attend the Berklee College of Music where he graduated with a music composition degree. After leaving Berklee, Randy headed to Los Angeles where he performed in various original and Top 40 bands. He worked alongside many great performers such as The Monkees’ Peter Tork, Oingo Boingo, Berlin, Ricky Lee Jones, Vonda Shepard, Katey Sagal, and more.

His original music is heard nationwide on a wide variety of music stations, especially his popular instrumental CD “L.A. Dialogues” with saxophonist extraordinaire Jimmy Street. His music has been used on  “Access Hollywood”, “”Property Ladder” on TLC, and ”Entertainment Tonight”. 

Randy’s CD’s include “Classic Klutz for Contemporary Katz”, with his take on Sinatra, Tony Bennet, and other great singers. His CD “After Hours” is a late night crooner's delight of jazz standards and originals. In January 2020, he released his newest CD “Walking This Road” which is all original compositions ranging from Gospel to Contemporary Rock. 

When not on the road Randy splits his time between Portland, Oregon, and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
